Daft Punk Meets Data in Music Made for Oscilloscope

Shelby Rogers

YouTuber Techmoan repaired an old oscilloscope to make sound visible, and it looks incredible. Techmoan refurbed a Tektronix 760A, and then programmed it to play Jerobeam Fenderson's Oscilloscope Music. The tracks were built with sounds producing unique images. If you watch the video from the beginning, you can catch all the informative bits about what to do with outputs and how to mix the sound files. For those just wanting to see the music part, start the video at the 5 minute mark and enjoy!
