Turbojets are used to power many commercial aircraft today, and they allow aircraft to travel at supersonic speeds. First invented in 1921 by Frenchman Maxime Guillaume, the jet engines slowly began being implemented into aircraft. If you're a fan of jet engines, then you are going to love this mini jet engine that was built by an engineer. Not only does it look impressive, but it puts out quite a bit of heat and thrust, even burning the linoleum floor below.
