Experimental Marine Heavy Lifting Amphibious Vehicle
The US military is the testing grounds for a lot of experimental equipment and determining if experimental machines are up to the daunting task required. The "Ultra Heavy-Lift Amphibious Connector" or UHAC, was developed by the Marine Corps Warfighting laboratory for heavy vehicle transport. The experimental model pictured in the video is only a 1/2 scale, but if deemed useful, the UHAC would transport tanks and troop carriers back to larger ships for transport. Its unique propulsion system sets this amphibious vehicle apart from the rest.
