F-35B Shows off Its Short Take off and Vertical Landing Capabilities

The engineering marvel F-35B hovers, short take offs, lands vertically, and looks like an alien bug in the process.

In this video, Jon Beesley who is the chief test pilot of the F-35B Joint Strike Fighter talks about the advanced technology of Short Take Off and Vertical Landing (STOVL).

The F-35B looks very different from your average plane, and there is a reason for that. With internal weapons, stealthy characteristics, and advanced electronic systems, it is a complete combat machine.

It is a fully maneuverable fighter aircraft and it is also a supersonic airplane. It stays suspended on thin hair, it’s stealthy, and looks shiny while doing that. We’re guessing that it blinds you with its shine since it is one of the stealthiest.

While there have been numerous debates over cost overruns, the level of control while landing is outstanding. It is an absolute engineering marvel: it is a plane with advanced technology, yet it can land like a helicopter.

It truly looks like the jets from the Avengers. Since there is a jet that can do the vertical landing, we need a transformable aircraft next. Hopefully, in cat form.
