‘Flying’ Train Footage From 1902 and 2015 Show Germany's Drastic Change
There is nothing like a train ride get to know a city. This video will get you familiar with Germany through the perspective of a 'flying' train.
You might be asking what a flying train is. The video is filmed from the Wuppertaler Schwebebahn, a suspension railway in Wuppertal, Germany, and it is the "oldest electric elevated railway with hanging cars in the world." Moreover, it is a unique system in Germany, with the original name being Einschienige Hängebahn System Eugen Langen. You can see how one looks from afar here:

The left clip is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and the video was published back in early August. It was then subtly colorized and upscaled to 4K quality by YouTuber Denis Shiryaev, which is the reason for the high-quality video.
It is up to the viewer whether they'll be pleased with the new's technology and whizzing cars or the elegant character of the old city. The change is truly drastic since only the railway has remained while most buildings have perished.
