Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Absolutely Destroys a Dyno

Trevor English

Dynamometers are used to determine how much wheel horsepower (WHP) a car has, which can be crucial in ranking a car's performance. Often times, the number of horsepower your car puts out can be a more impressive number than the number of races you have won with it.

As this man rolled his Shelby GT500 onto the dyno at an event in Quebec, he had no idea what his car would do to it. The machine was rated up to 1000 WHP, so his car was either more powerful than that, or the dyno broke down catastrophically. Check it out!
