Everyone has been affected by COVID-19 and it is not an exaggeration to say that the pandemic has changed the whole world. Although at first glance it might seem bad, being forced to stay at home and minimizing contact with others, there may also be some positive changes that come from this time.
One of these is the use of robots everywhere from delivering food to ensuring people abide by social distancing measures. Indeed, COVID-19 has seen robots show up in the most unusual places.
There is also the working from home factor. This has been a huge change for a lot of people and could make way for a future where offices no longer exist.
Next, up is telehealth. With many too scared to venture outside and doctors to frightened to see patients in person, we are seeing the emergence of online diagnoses. Could this grow into a future of distance medical services? There are already smartphone-based setups that allow patients to have their teeth checked without having to physically make the trip to the clinic. Why not extend the technology to other health services?
