Hydraulic Press Makes Dictionary Explode

Hydraulic presses can exert thousands of Newtons of force on an object, and sometimes the reaction of the object is not quite what you would expect. Dictionaries and other paper products are already incredibly dense, so there isn't much room for all the force to spread out and deformation to occur. As the book gets compressed beyond its breaking point, it explodes outwards in many pieces. Check it out!
