Man Makes a Potato Cannon for His Home-Made Tank
Why potatoes? Who knows? Probably because they are circular and a bit heavy. Colinfurze does say the weapon choice was between a flame thrower and a potato launcher.
He decided to go with the potato launcher because tanks do not have flame throwers. Could the potato launcher possibly launch other stuff too? Possibly if they fit.
The video takes you through the entire process of making the potato launcher and trust us when we say you can't do this at home. It requires a lot of expertise.
Colinfurze makes a first version of the potato launcher and tests it on a bunch of barrels. He then decides it is not good enough.
He goes back to his garage or studio, or wherever he does his experiments, and further enhances the potato launcher so that, according to him, it's truly semi-automatic.
