The Russian mechanics at the YouTube channel Garage 54 never fail to come up with interesting videos that hook you right from the beginning. In their latest video, the mechanics try to answer the ultimate question: Can you make a Lada do a flip while someone sits on the inside? Well, they couldn't leave the question unanswered without trying.
They begin by loading the car onto a flatbed and transporting it to the test track, where they undertake the difficult task of flipping the Lada and landing it back on its wheels again.
They strap harnesses to the Lada and then attempt to flip it over its hood. And needless to say, the demonstration was a success. While the landing appeared to be uncomfortable and could have been smoothed down, this is still one of the coolest things we've seen someone perform in a long time.
