New British Five Pound Note Gets Musical
YouTuber Michael Ridge discovered something unique about the UK's new five pound notes.
The crisp bills can be used as a makeshift record player. The banknote acts as a makeshift needle on the turntable, though we don't suggest using this method at your next party.
Ridge uses the bill's crisp edges in attempts to play ABBA's Money Money Money. It's partially understandable if you're familiar with the song, but at times, it dips into sounding like Rob Zombie's next album.
The set-up is not as simple as one would hope either. Ridge also used a contact microphone and small amp to pick up the music. If you happen to have those also lying around the house, give it a try!
