Nintendo Turns Your House into a Racing Track in New Mario Kart Live
If you've ever wanted to turn your living room into a race track, you'll be especially delighted by Nintendo's surprise announcement. The consumer electronics and video game company has revealed the latest Mario Kart; however, this one doesn't look like the others.
Developed in partnership with a New York-based studio called Velan Studios, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is a racing game that comes with an augmented reality twist. Players use their Switch to drive remote-controlled cars and the cars appear on the Switch's screen.
Through Nintendo Switch, you'll be able to control a physical Kart and race through custom courses set up in your home. This is a fun and neat idea, and it is bound to make you excited about the future of games when they begin to intercept more and more with augmented reality.
The game is expected to launch on October 16th. Those who are interested will be able to purchase it in both Mario and Luigi variants.
