You might be wondering why someone would want to upgrade a Tesla Model S 75D. It is already an impressive car with great features.

Well, it turns out that one of Rich Rebuilds' friends wanted a vehicle with more range, power, and speed. At first, he looked into trading in his Model S 75D for a P100DL but didn't like the options offered by Tesla.

He then decided to go to Rich Rebuilds since he is a master at restoring and upgrading vehicles, particularly in Teslas. Then, the owner bought a damaged P100DL for a mere $30,000.

The vehicle has been totaled, but its electric motor and battery were still usable. So what did Rich Rebuilds do?

You got it! He removed the 75D’s rear drivetrain and battery to replace them with the P100DL's. What did he do next? You have to watch the video for that.

We will tell you that he achieved the whole transformation on the cheap. The entire project cost the owner only $33,000 in total, and that included the $9,000 in labor costs from Rich Rebuilds' garage.

This is an impressive feat, but then again, we have come to expect nothing less from Rich Rebuilds.
