Supercars are what most of us dream of, and having more than one on the road is an exciting treat. In this race, YouTubers Carfection brought together a Porsche 911 Turbo S and a McLaren 600LT to see which one is faster.
While the YouTubers gave their own introduction of the cars in the video, we bring you their makers' perspective here and you will witness that these are indeed both impressive cars built to outperform the competition. The Porsche 911 Turbo S is described by its makers with the following words:
"Our engineers like to talk about the most perfect sports car ever. Extremely sporty, at the same time comfortable and fully suitable for everyday use. The new 911 Turbo models also consistently follow this path."
Meanwhile, McLaren describes its 600LT as follows: "This is the 600LT. It lives and breathes the relentless spirit of its ‘Longtail’ predecessors. United by the same singular focus. To push performance and driving to the absolute edge."
Clearly, these are both two very powerful cars with many speed-inducing features. The question remains which is faster and which can perform better and safer? A race down some tracks is bound to give us an answer. Watch and learn.
