Tesla Model S vs. 770 HP Formula 1 Car: See Who Wins

Teslas are famous for their fantastic torque, but can they compete with an F1 car?

There is nothing like the adrenaline rush that you get from being inside an incredibly fast-driving car, but watching two dragsters put everything on the line can come a close second.

In this case, the YouTube channel Driven puts a Tesla Model S P100D in the ultimate test against a 770 HP V10-powered Formula 1 car to see what happens, and it is bound to give you a whiplash.

To give you the stats, the Model S is a P100D model with 671 hp, 701 pound-feet (950 Nm) of torque, and can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.7 seconds, according to Tesla. On the other hand, the Benetton F1 car features a V10 engine with 770 horsepower and weighs just 1,157 pounds (525 kg). As Driven writes in the description box, "safe to say, it’s very fast."
