Tesla Model S vs. 770 HP Formula 1 Car: See Who Wins
There is nothing like the adrenaline rush that you get from being inside an incredibly fast-driving car, but watching two dragsters put everything on the line can come a close second.
In this case, the YouTube channel Driven puts a Tesla Model S P100D in the ultimate test against a 770 HP V10-powered Formula 1 car to see what happens, and it is bound to give you a whiplash.
To give you the stats, the Model S is a P100D model with 671 hp, 701 pound-feet (950 Nm) of torque, and can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.7 seconds, according to Tesla. On the other hand, the Benetton F1 car features a V10 engine with 770 horsepower and weighs just 1,157 pounds (525 kg). As Driven writes in the description box, "safe to say, it’s very fast."
