Tesla Model X Plaid vs. Lamborghini Huracan EVO: Who'll win?
Nothing beats the exhilaration of watching a drag race. Especially when it's between a Tesla and a Lamborghini.
In this video from YouTube's DragTimes, veteran drag racer Brooks Weisblat pits a Tesla Model X Plaid against a Lamborghini Huracan EVO in a quarter-mile race. In case you missed it, the $304k Huracan EVO features 630 horsepower from its 5.2-liter V10 engine, and while it doesn't have as much horsepower as the Model X Plaid, it's far lighter. In comparison, the Tesla Model X Plaid’s three electric motors produce 1,020 horsepower. It weighs 5,390 pounds and is fitted with a 100 kWh battery pack.
The channel has been showcasing the Model X Plaid in its recent videos. Previously, the vehicle was taken through the quarter-mile to see if it could break any new marks for a production SUV. It did, with the Model X Plaid achieving a record with a 2.3-second 0-60 mph pace and a quarter-mile pass in 9.7 seconds. If you want to see how it compares to the Lamborghini Huracan EVO, check out the video posted above, and as usual, have fun.
