We all know that some of the most advanced techs out there come from military development. Indeed, with plenty of money for research and development, the military comes up with some of the most ingenious innovations. In this video, we take a look at some of these innovations related to robotics. There’s no denying that these military robots are as futuristic as it gets and they come from all kinds of backgrounds. Some were developed for military use while others were adapted to military applications.

The Knightscope HP RoboCop is equipped with a two-way intercom for emergencies. It can track nearby mobile phone use and scan 1,200 license plates a minute. Now, that’s an effective police robot! The DOGO serves as a watchdog in close combats. It has eight cameras that cover a 360-degree area and is also armed with a 9-mm Glock pistol.

Boston Dynamics’ Spot was not created for military use but it is currently being tested in combat training by the French Army. It was used for reconnaissance during the training.
