HireVue uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to streamline the job hiring process. The software is already being adopted by large firms like Goldman Sachs, Vodaphone and Hilton. The software uses a mix of Artificial Intelligence and Industrial-Organizational Psychology (I-O Psychology) to provide an insight into candidates via video interviews and assessment tasks. When a candidate does a video interview they provide thousands of data points that can be analyzed to assess whether they are a good fit for the position. HireVue does this assessment for you and then provides an insight into which candidates will be the right choice for your business.

The software uses candidate's verbal and nonverbal cues to give insight into the candidate's thinking and problem-solving style. These small cues are often difficult to interpret by untrained professionals, particularly if there has been rounds and rounds of interviews.
