Turn Your Selfie into a 3D Chocolate Sculpture

Selfies are perhaps the defining mark of the 21st century, and now you can turn your selfie into a chocolate sculpture. This project requires a 3D printer, or your willingness to pay a company to 3D print your portrait. Using a digital scanner or your smartphone and an online software, you can generate a digital 3D model of yourself. This can then be sent off to a 3D printer to create a miniature bust of your face. Using silicon rubber molding supplies, you can then turn this print into a negative and cast your face from anything, like chocolate or jello. Check out the project in the video above.
