But have you ever stopped to wonder how our modern Arabic numeral system developed? Ted Ed's Alessandra King explained the evolution of our base 10 system. From ancient Greek, Hebrew and Egyptian to Indian mathematicians, numbers have evolved in a way comparable to the Phonetic alphabet.
