YouTuber Veritasium is known for bringing us cool and usual innovations. In this video, he shows us the inner working of an inflatable and unstoppable soft robot that may just save your life one day.

The robot's creator got the inspiration for it when he saw a vine growing out his office window. He was amazed at how it twisted and twirled in order to keep on growing forward.

Inspired by this, he created a robot made out of inflatable material that can be powered by compressed air to grow from the tip. This means that these types of robots can tackle any obstacles including nails that pierce holes in them. Even if they are punctured, as long as there is sufficient air pressure these nifty robots keep going.

They can also easily grow through tight spaces, curvy passageways, and even sticky surfaces. The versatile robots have many applications but perhaps their most important one is the ability to save lives.

What is this application that is life-saving? You have to watch the video to find out. At the same time, you can see the robot in action tackling all kinds of environments like a pro. This is a video not to be missed!
