The Zildjian Cymbal is used by rockstars and aspiring drummers alike. Yet, do you know how the Zildjian Cymbal is made?

Made in the United States, the Avedis Zildjian Company recently showcased how their cymbals are made via a hypnotizing industrial video that follows the process from start to packaging.

The process which starts at the Avedis Varteresian Melting Room continues with heating, shaping, and hammering and comes to a glorious conclusion after the cymbals are tested. The company prides themselves because they use both old and new world techniques to create their world-famous products. Even more so, these old-world techniques go back much further in history than you think.

Avedis Zildjian Company was actually founded in Constantinople, or modern-day Istanbul, Turkey, in the 17th century by Avedis Zildjian. Almost now 400 years old, the cymbal manufacturer is now based in Norwell, Massachusetts, and is proud of being one of the oldest cymbal manufacturers in the world.

When people need a great sounding cymbal with an equally rich and diverse history, the best place to turn is the Avedis Zildjian Company. Be sure to check out the video above for the full story.
