Watch Rambo's Iconic Exploding Arrows Come To Life

Exploding arrows, slow motion cameras, and iconic Rambo scenes: What's not to love?

You must have seen used exploding arrows in video games or at least seen them in Hollywood movies. For example, Hawkeye's bow had a remote in it that triggered his arrows to explode whenever he wanted. Not only it was very cool, but their explosive tip also enabled them to be detonated at any time after they've been fired or on impact, making them incredibly deadly.

Maybe more famously, explosive arrow torque tips were used by John Rambo in Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III. While you won't see explosive arrows in real life, they always add some fire to the stuff they are in.

In this video, the YouTube channel FullMag's Richard Ryan takes Rambo's exploding arrows and recreates them in real life which he defines as "some of the most iconic parts" of the movies. He says that while it sounds like a "fairy easy endeavor," there are many factors to consider, with the first and most important one being safety. If you're curious to see how he tackled the problems, make sure you watch the video above.
