Will a Hydraulic Press Crush a Non-Newtonian Fluid?

Trevor English

There's an entire channel on youtube devoted to crushing things with hydraulic presses, and this time, they have taken on non-Newtonian fluids. These fluids are solid under high strain, and liquid under low strain, so they create some pretty interesting effects like allowing people to run across a giant vat of it. You would think that a hydraulic press would move too slowly to create any cool effects, but the result turns out to be pretty interesting.
