You Can Build Your Own Custom Game Boy Following These Steps
No matter what Giaco Whatever is building, his videos all look like the trailer for this summer’s action blockbuster. His latest video is no exception and the content is also incredibly impressive.
Yearning for his old Game Boy, Giaco went ahead and created his own. In an extremely complicated build that requires lots of tools and gadgets, Giaco crafts the Game Boy from aluminum, a MAKERbuino set, and some handsomely crafted timber.
The finished build is a Game Boy unlike you have ever seen before, made with flair and precision it looks incredible. The kit Giaco used for the main body of the game is called MAKERbuino. It’s an open-source game console you can fully build yourself without too much prior tech knowledge.
It’s also a really cool way to get started on making more complex projects that require electronics and soldering. It is apparently so well designed that even kids can do it.
Giaco Whatever is a master of the how-to genre. While admittedly, many of his projects are too complicated for the average person, they serve as an awesome inspiration to get started on your own design projects.
Giaco’s ideas range from creating the world's fastest Nerf gun to tips about shooting your own cinematic videos. His style is clean and movie-like with lots of satisfying slow motion and brilliant soundtracks.
