YouTuber Builds and Tests the World's Largest Guitar Pedalboard
Guitarist and YouTuber Rob Scallon decided to build the world’s largest guitar effect pedalboard consisting of 319 effects pedals on 34 individual pedalboards. To achieve this he collaborated with Sweetwater campus.
"What could possibly go wrong?" joked one of Scallon's associates. "The same thing that could go wrong when you put four pedals in a row," he replied, answering his own question.
To build the impressive pedalboard they had the help of the pedal manufacturers as well as the people that make the pedal systems. "We have the best experts here," said Scallon.
The team started by organizing the pedals by type. One rule they had to follow was no pedal duplicates.
The second rule was that all pedals had to be in a single signal flow. Then, they had to demonstrate that all the pedals worked and finally play a gig.
That's a lot to achieve but the team does it just fine and the gig is a success. We won't tell you more about that. You have to watch the video for that.
We will tell you it's a record-breaking gig not to be missed.
