There are two types of people; those who love nerf blasters and find them entertaining, and those who think they are the most annoying invention to grace the Earth since the arrival of the battery-powered battery chargers. They can be immensely fun indeed if you're not at the receiving end of its "darts."

YouTuber Ivan Miranda has taken onto himself to take the nerf blaster game up a notch, and the kid's toy has become somewhat a shadow of its former self... A magnified shadow indeed, since the good ol' trusty nerf blaster has turned into a giant bazooka!

Beginning from scratch, he uses a 160 mm (6.3 inch) diameter PVC pipe and numerous 3D-printed parts to get the project to come to life. The 3D-printed parts were used in the firing mechanism and as jigs to help machine the pipe.

He makes a set of "monster darts" with gym foam rollers and buffing pads. He explains in the description box that he uses thick rubber tubes that "pull a plunger against the dart" to launch the monster darts. Do you see where this project is going? Watching the video will definitely help you read between the lines...
