Under normal circumstances, glass breaks into many pieces when you try to cut it.

Have you ever tried cutting glass? Needless to say, if you did try it you were probably left with a bunch of broken pieces everywhere as scissors tend to break glass apart.

What if there was a way to cut glass without breaking it apart? Would you even believe it was possible? YouTuber The Action Lab brings us a video that illustrates that it is.

He takes a piece of glass and paints it red so it can show on the camera. He then takes a giant bucket of water and shows us how he can actually manage to cut the glass precisely if he puts it in the water.

To prove that it is real glass, the YouTuber then takes the piece of glass out of the water and tries to cut it once more. We witness first hand the pieces of glass flying everywhere. Clearly this is a trick that only works underwater.

How does this work? Even The Action Lab admits that it's amazing that this trick works. Lucky for us, he goes on to illustrate all the science behind it and we must admit we are impressed. Want to also know what is happening? Watch the video to find out more.
