YouTubers Put a Watermelon Against a 155-MPH Helicopter. With Baseball Bat Blades?
The popular Australian YouTube channel How Ridiculous runs by the motto, "We drop stuff, we bounce stuff, we throw stuff, we catch stuff," so they never disappoint those with a penchant for extravagant demonstrations. True to their name, the channel's creators recently collaborated with the aeronautical engineering firm Innovaero to build a helicopter with baseball bat blades to test how far it could send a ball. However, they couldn't stop there as they are notorious for bringing things to the next level: They had to film it battering various objects in slow motion.
They manage to come up with a variety of objects, ranging from a ball to a watermelon, that will undoubtedly put a smile on your face. The slow-motion shots are extremely interesting to see since the helicopter's baseball bat blades are whirling at 155 miles per hour (250 kilometers per hour). If you want to see the demonstration, check the video posted above, and as always, have fun.
